Gornergrat | Matterhorn Series

To reach the ridge of Gornergrat, which sits at an altitude of more than 3000m, a little red rack-rail train has been tackling the slopes overlooking the village of Zermatt since 1898. The alpine hotel which has been built on this ridge houses, in each one of its turrets, a telescope. Here, imposing lord of the land, is the Matterhorn. Its presence is so mighty, so haunting, that any viewer soon realises that it is impossible to take their eyes away.
