Inspired by the chocolate poster-art ads back in the Belle-Epoque and in reference to the Art Deco movement with a use of flat colors and the will of predominant elements in the composition, this new artwork is a unique piece in the collection.

Built in 1913, the Gstaad Palace has earned an unrivalled reputation for discreet, refined hospitality over the years, and has always welcomed the most discerning international clientele. Set on a hill overlooking the beautiful town of Gstaad, the resort is privileged to offer a breathtaking view of the majestic Swiss Alps. For three generations, the landmark of Gstaad has been family-operated and combines classic grand-hotel glamour with alpine cosiness.

The artwork depicts an iconic Bentley Pacey-Hassan single-seater from 1936. The car dominated the races of its time with speeds up to 205 km/h. Its elegant design, its number one position in racing and the high attention to detail of the brand allowing it to keep its high level of reputation through the years, are the elements that set the Pacey apart, mirroring the notable palace.

The number 6 symbolizes perfection and outstanding service - finest qualities that you will find in the prestigious establishment. The choice of the red color for the race car is an homage to the famous 1934 Alex Walter Diggelmann ‘’Gstaad’’ poster-art

On the 19th January 2019, Bentley Motors was celebrating 100 years anniversary.
