The largest city in Switzerland with its 400,000 inhabitants has many things to reveal to any traveler! Starting with Limmat, elected as the cleanest urban river in Europe, which runs through the heart of the city.

Several wooden structures called the ‘’Badi’’ were installed along the river, allowing residents to keep cool and relax during the summer days. At the end of the day, many of these public baths turn into trendy lounges and city bars. To reach the old town and its four churches, go down the ‘’Bahnhofstrasse’’ - the Swiss Champs Elysées, lined with prestigious boutiques, watchmakers and banks. An ideal place to enjoy a glass of mulled wine or a hot chocolate during the winter.

On this artwork: the Münsterbrücke, the bridge that connects two of the most famous churches of the city, the Grossmünster and the Fraumünster. The Fraumünster is one of the oldest in Switzerland. A former Benedictine abbey (Frau = Woman), with a blue-green bell tower, its traces date back to the year 853! Its final shape dates back to the end of the 19th century.

LAST UP TO 100 YEARS

Technique: Atelier WOCS artworks are produced by a remarkable process that yields the finest quality graphic reproductions available today. The Giclée prints are fine art prints that will last up to 100 years with proper handling and protection from direct sunlight. Our prints are created with archival fade resistant pigmented inks. These museum-quality prints allow to reproduce original colors with stunning fidelity.

Archival paper: Our Hahnemühle 308 gsm archival paper meets the highest standards for fine art applications and is perfect for special editions. It achieves outstanding printing results and a high age resistance of over 100 years. It comply with the ISO 9706 norm, standard criteria for international museums and galleries. Specially manufactured natural wool felts give the artworks their unique surface texture, providing a three-dimensionality that enhances the visual effect thanks to an incredible depth.
