The largest city in Switzerland with its 400,000 inhabitants has many things to reveal to any traveler! Starting with Limmat, elected as the cleanest urban river in Europe, which runs through the heart of the city.

Several wooden structures called the ‘’Badi’’ were installed along the river, allowing residents to keep cool and relax during the summer days. At the end of the day, many of these public baths turn into trendy lounges and city bars. To reach the old town and its four churches, go down the ‘’Bahnhofstrasse’’ - the Swiss Champs Elysées, lined with prestigious boutiques, watchmakers and banks. An ideal place to enjoy a glass of mulled wine or a hot chocolate during the winter.

On this artwork: the Münsterbrücke, the bridge that connects two of the most famous churches of the city, the Grossmünster and the Fraumünster. The Fraumünster is one of the oldest in Switzerland. A former Benedictine abbey (Frau = Woman), with a blue-green bell tower, its traces date back to the year 853! Its final shape dates back to the end of the 19th century.
